What is a Sipping N' Painting class like?
Sipping N' Painting is a painting studio open to people of all ages and skill levels. Painters can complete a masterpiece by the end of the night while enjoying time with friends. You’ll have a great painting when you leave! No artistic experience is needed. Just be ready to have fun. We also love to offer personal attention to everyone.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Because of limited seating, signing up in advance is always recommended.
Visit the "Register now" page for details. You can always email or call us to see if we have space at the last minute - or just stop by if you are in the neighborhood. We are not open during typical "retail" hours - as we do not sell retail products. We are usually closed on Mondays and open Tuesday thru Sunday in the evening. We love Walk-Ins!
What is the cost of a Sipping N' Painting class?
Classes range from $35-40. The price depends on the night of the week and painting. Please refer to the "Register now" tab of our website for a calender with specific days, paintings and prices.
What is included in the price?
We provide canvases, paint, brushes, easels, aprons, light snacks, and a complimentary glass of wine or house beer (must be 21 and over to enjoy the beer and wine). You'll go home with a painting & many fun memories! Wine, beer and an assortment of other beverages are available for purchase at the bar throughout the night.
What do I wear?
We will provide aprons, but you should wear paint friendly clothes - just to play it safe!
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We recommend getting there 10 to 15 minutes early to get registered and get the seat of your choice.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations should be made online or by email. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. However; we
offer a 100% refund - we know that "life" happens.
How long is a class?
Classes last approximately 2 hours.
What time are classes held?
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday classes usually begin at 6pm. Saturday classes usually begin at 4pm and again at 7:30pm. Sunday classes begin at 5pm. Check the specific class date to verify the exact time.
Do I have to paint the featured painting of the night?
People are welcome to paint whatever they want to paint at our classes. If you want to paint a purple platypus – go for it! We, however will be teaching the featured painting of the night. Often people follow the painting of the night but change it to reflect their own personal style and creativity.
What if I come with my significant other and we don't want two of the exact same painting?
Many couples will choose to take the featured painting and have one person invert the colors. This creates two unique canvases that can be hung side by side. Another option is to paint two different paintings. And yet a third option is to take the painting and alter it to spread across two canvases that can be hung side by side. Our instructors will help you think creatively so you can leave the night with unique canvas art for your home.
Can we host a private party at Sipping N' Painting?
